Animation History

As part of my introduction, I did a little research into the background on animation and how it has developed from it's beginning stages. 
The pictures below show a few stages of animation including; the flipbook, 1831 phenakistoscope, snow white cell animation cells, drawings and even the Lusitania by Windsor McCay. These pictures just show a few examples of how animation has developed since the early stages and how it contniued to grow.
